I got served with a DMCA takedown order for one of my maps today. It would seem as though one of the agencies aiding and abetting illegal immigration into the United States does not like my work, and somehow thinks that postal addresses from Google Maps are copyrighted content. They know that I can't respond legally because they have DEEP pockets, and I would have to dox myself anyway to fight this. Lawfair is real, and even though this is a 100% illegal DMCA takedown, in the United States the rule of law only applies to certain people. So well played, whomever did this, my map layer tracking Cartel logistics is gone and I'll have to figure something else out.
I certainly hope that none of you thought that I didn't have a plan for this already in place; I was expecting opposition on this project from the very beginning.
